Eco-Friendly, Low-Cost, and Flexible Cotton Fabric for Capacitive Touchscreen Devices Based on Graphite

Cotton fabrics with high electrical conductivity were prepared using graphite dispersed in ethanol as the conductive material. The particles drop-cast onto cotton at room temperature. samples characterized by SEM, EDX, XPS, and XRD. In addition, properties of investigated a four-probe technique. concentration was increased to saturation 74.48 wt% investigate relation between sheet resistance concentration. With increasing concentration, decreased reached minimum value 7.97 Ω/□ wt%. Samples low, medium, showed semiconducting metallic behavior transition temperature 90 °C. Based on their individual properties, smart glove fabricated for touchscreen devices such cell phones self-service dropping small amount into one fingertips glove. efficiency durability up 10 wash cycles.
